Getting Started with Your Label Design
All we really need is your logo to get started – please send any of the following formats:
- EPS, PDF, or AI files (vector format) – preferred
- High-resolution JPG, TIFF, or PNG files
Additionally, any of the following:
- text to be included on the label – address, phone number, website, tagline, etc.
- photographs or other images (must be high-resolution)
- brand standards to be followed
Once our graphics department receives your logo, they can send back a custom label proof in about one business day. Feel free to request changes or alternative designs – they’ll work with you until you’re completely satisfied with your personalized, custom label!
When you’re satisfied with your label design, you must fill out and return the proof form before we can proceed with your order.
Designing Your Own Label
If you would prefer to handle the label design yourself, we have provided our label template for download. Send your finished label to art@dmcwater.com and the graphics department will send a proof for your approval.
Standard vs. Wrap Labels
DrinkMore Custom Water offers two different basic label styles – standard and wrap. For the majority of customers, we recommend using the standard style.
We order over 10 million of our standard labels per year. Because we buy in bulk, we get great pricing – which we pass along to you. Our standard labels are 6.25″ wide, meaning that there is a 1.5″ gap between the two ends. This particular format focuses on the center of the label (and your logo), with extra information on the label wings.
Wrap labels, on the other hand, don’t have a clear point of focus – and when you’re getting branded water bottles, don’t you want the focus to be on your logo?
There’s also a more technical aspect: because water bottles are soft objects, there is a slight skew to any label that is adhered to a bottle (regardless of the quality of the machine – ours is state-of-the-art, and we still get slight skew) – this skew is imperceptible with the standard label, but more noticeable with the wrap. This means that the ends of the label don’t always match up completely.
Wrap-style labels are generally only necessary for lesser-quality labels that are glued together at the ends. Because our labels are fully adhesive, that is no longer an issue.
If you do choose to proceed with a wrap label, there will be an $1/case upcharge.

DrinkMore Custom Water also offers coupon labels, two-sided (peek-a-boo) labels and clear labels. To find out more about pricing and minimums for specialty labels, contact us.
